The Volkswagen Passat CC, also referred to as simply the Volkswagen CC, is a four-door, four-seat coupe. Based on Volkswagen's Passat family car, the CC offers an upgraded interior with a sleeker appearance. In exchange for its striking appearance, it offers room for only two people in the rear, a change necessitated by its lowered roofline.
North American Passat CCs come with a choice of two engines. Most models are equipped with the Audi/VW 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder powerplant, which generates 200 horsepower and 207 foot-pounds of torque. The upscale VR6 4Motion Executive Edition boasts VW's narrow-angle 3.6 liter V6 engine, resulting in 280 horsepower and 265 foot-pounds of torque.
