This generation started using the heavy-duty design for the Silverado. The GMT900 is the second generation of these trucks and includes the Silverado 2500. The Silverado 2500HD is offered in a few different builds and trims. This truck is built with either front-wheel or four-wheel drive. The regular cab design is only offered with the WT and LT trims, while the extended and crew cab designs are also available with the LTZ trim.
